Shake it up with the Earthquakes!
Amway Global is the newest teammate of the San Jose Earthquakes, a Major League Soccer team. A historic three-year sponsorship agreement signed early in 2009 means that the Amway Global logo will grace players’ jerseys and travel wear, as well as appear on signs and in-stadium commercials at home games.
At home games, fans will have a chance to sample NUTRILITE supplements and Sports Nutrition products at an Amway Global-branded tent, where they will also have the chance to win products and prizes, such as soccer balls and T-shirts.
The Amway Global Street Team will make appearances at all home games, while also having a presence at a number of soccer and non-soccer events throughout the Bay Area. Members of the Amway Global Street Team will give away Earthquakes merchandise and provide soccer skills demonstrations at each event.
But this sponsorship is about more than just name recognition – it has heart. Amway Global is now the official sponsor of the Kicks for Kids program, which focuses on fitness and healthy lifestyles, as well as bringing underprivileged children to Earthquakes games. Through the program, Earthquakes players will visit 15 schools or community centers in the Bay Area to talk about the importance of being active and living a healthy lifestyle. At each event, the player will distribute tickets and replica jersey shirts to 150 kids per school.
Amway Global and the Earthquakes also will sponsor the Hispanic Youth Soccer Scholarship Program, which pays the expenses for one year of soccer for a deserving youth player in the Bay Area.

Feel the Sol heat!
Women’s professional soccer is back in the U.S., and Amway Global is sponsoring one of the hottest teams in the Women’s Professional Soccer League for the 2009 inaugural season and beyond.
The multi-year partnership gives Amway Global on-jersey exposure and names Amway Global as the team’s exclusive provider of nutrition and skin care products. Amway Global is proud that the brand will have a presence through on-field signage at The Home Depot Center, within the “Sol City Festival” interactive fan village, and at team-sponsored clinics and community appearances.
At home games, fans will have a chance to sample Nutrilite supplements and Sports Nutrition products, as well as ARTISTRY® skin care and cosmetics at an Amway Global-branded tent, where they will also have the chance to win products and prizes, such as soccer balls and T-shirts.
A keystone of the partnership is the creation of the “Marta’s Maniacs in Amway Global Corner” section at all Los Angeles Sol home games. Located within section 119 of The Home Depot Center, this specially branded seating section is reserved for the most rabid fans of the Los Angeles Sol and its star player, Marta.
